Bottom feeders - they evidently buy very old and outdated paper that has expired under the statute of limitations for pennies on the dollar.  Told the lady that it has been 8 years, save us both some trouble and stop calling.  She said that the fact that it has been 8 years may mean they can't force me to pay them but I still owe it.

I said "Well, tell ya what - it will never be paid but if you want to sit here and lecture me instead of calling someone who might pay you then that's your call, I have allllllll day".  She said 'pay your bills and have a nice day' then hung up.  If it is very old and off your credit there is no reason to pay this firm - the original creditor wrote it off long ago, you owe this firm NOTHING, they never leant you anything.  They have no documentation either - asked them to send me the documentation and she said 'you know you owe it'.  Yeah, well, I also know that it fell off my credit two years ago and you are wasting both of our time dear....

These people called me on a loan that I had over 6 yrs ago, I tried to explain to them that I had traded the vehicle in. They told me they were litigation lawyers and that I have to pay this debt immediately. They call from a variety of numbers and I am tired of people who are allowed to prey on people and trick them into paying debts they dont owe. KUDODS to you all for speaking out against this fraud. No reparable lawyer would do business like this, certified letters usually come first.

Got called by an automated system that couldn't pronounce my name... The system asked if I was me, but since they can't teach their robot to speak English, I pushed "2" for no. Fairly sure this is regarding a 10 year old debt that I've been disputing from day one and will NEVER pay!

THIS IS A SCAM! They called and claimed I owe $4900 to a company I've never heard of. They used my maiden name. I just bought a home, so all of my credit history was pulled 2 weeks ago. I do not have any debt in collections. THEY ARE SCAMMERS! DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION.
