[***] called me too  - on a ported-to-cel old landline that never gets any calls except form scumbags like this (always let it go to vm) then on the number my vm message refers to for people calling w / other business w me other than wasting my time. They called right after the first call so let the 2nd call go to vm. I just otained a clean credit report for myself and am up to date on my bills - so what businesss might they have w me? get a life pond scum.

6/15..11 am..male voice calls and states "hi,can you please have your neighbor come over so that I can talk to him" when I replied "no" he states,well then can you take your phone to him,I need to talk to him it's important" When I told him I would not do that he became rude & obnoxious stating "so you won't help out a neighbor,just tell me and that will be that",then proceeded to verbally hassle me. I called him on his rude tone and told him that I thought he was pretty nervy to ask someone to do that. He then gave me a file number a & asked if I would just give him a message at my convenience. I asked for his name and if he was an attorney and he stated his name was Tony Brewer and that he was a legal assistant. After the call ended I googled the number to find out it was a collectiobn agency. I really didn't think that a legal assistant would be that rude!!! What an idiot!!!

I received a cal from a woman who said that she was calling to collect a debt. I told her to send me a letter. She said sthey had already sent two. I told her to send me a letter and I hung up. A few days latter I got a call from the same woman and again she treid to admonish me for not paying my bills. Said the lawyer didn't talk to anyone so again I told her to send me a letter and hung up. I went into me den to do some work and about one-half hour latter the mail man made his delib=very and in the mail was a letter from Lawrence A. Hecker Attorney At Law dated June 12, 2009 regarding a old debt. This was strange because the first telephone call was on June 12, 2009. I wrote a letter advising to send proof of legitimacy of debt and mailed it the next morning.
After reading some of the comments I checked the internet to see if there was anything listed about this individual and decided that there was so much a person could spend a lifetime reviewing all the negative blawgs about Mr. Hecker.
This morning I checked the address to confirm if it was valid. The answer was "The address may not be deliverable". The next exercise will to review this with the New Jersey State Bar and maybe proceed in contacting the New Jersey Attorney General.
