469-248-4184 just called my business. Caller ID shows Dallas TX. An extremely rude and quite persistent woman somehow made it past my secretary by lying. She finally got me, the owner, on the phone. She kept asking if the business name was correct, if my name was correct, if the business address was still the same, etc. She wanted to let me know that one of their representatives would be in our area in the next week and would be stopping in to meet with me. When I inquired about who the call was from and what the call was in reference to, she became indignant and stated that she wasn't try to sell me anything and was just providing a service, and her company was Card Services. I knew right away that she was lying and they were nothing more than a scam company. Even after informing her that I was not interested in what she's trying to sell or offer, she just kept going on and on claiming that she wasn't trying to sell us anything, and that she was just calling to provide us with a cost comparison for credit card processing. I could hear that she was clearly in a boiler room setting, as the background noise and multitude of voices were extremely loud and it made it difficult to hear her. She also must have been wearing a cheap headset, because the call kept having line noise throughout the entire conversation. After politely informing her three different times that I am not interested, and that we use Square and are very happy with them, I finally had to inform her that this would be the fourth and final time that I would be telling her that I am NOT interested, that I do not want them to send a representative to my business, because if they did the representative would be asked to leave, and that the conversation was over. She called me an a-hole and then hung up on me. Will be reporting the call as harassment to the FCC.gov website immediately.
