My phones been getting slammed after getting a valid # and call from stepson (dumbass)

Received today around 20ish collect call recording from Maricopa County Jail inmate.... was given options and and another# to call but not going to.  Also gave option to press 1 to receive  60second courtesy call from inmate.  Not sure who in my circle could be in jail but...not wanting to know. Have enough stress in Life as is.

My son is in Fed prison in Chicago.  Reading this board helped me get to GTL  connect network.  I was able to then register my phone. N I was finally able to talk to my son.  The Fed's sure make it hard n difficult

Not a Scam. Someone in custody or supervision in a jail/prison is trying to reach you by collect call, but most wireless carriers don't allow collect calls to cell phones. You, the call recipient, need to first fund an account through AdvancePay/VAC first before the call can be connected between you and the inmate. 9725431963 is ConnectNetwork/GTL (Global Tel Link). Totally legit. Their office is in Texas, so regardless which corrections facility someone you know is calling from, it is routed through their Texas #.

If you don't know anyone in prison, I guess it would be spam to you! But you never know... maybe your number is the only one that this inmate (a long lost cousin, estranged brother, sister) memorized in his head to call, lol! Hope this helps anyone googling this number.
