This is a company that is trying to extort money from people.  I got a phone call from them and told me that I owed money for a payday loan and then he said that if I didn't pay the money back  ($1732.45) I would have 2 felony charges against me and that they could put me in jail for 180 days.  His name is Lester Williams who claims he is an investigator for this Mediation Company, he wouldn't give me the name of the payday loan place. He also threatens to turn me into the attorney generals office and tells me that I better get an attorney. This is a huge scam! I will be turning them into the attorney generals office and the BBB and the FBI as they have all of my identity, SS#, Bank# and address and phone number.

They just called me Elliott Jacods and he told me I had a payday loan that he was sending to courts for prosecution for a class D felony if I didn't pay 1226.00 today. Scary thing is they have my address where I live. When I asked who company was he avoided the question,  asked again and was told he would file harassment charges against me along with payday loans.

the person on the other side stated his name as ELLIOT JACOBS
he left a message stating if I do not call him back or my attorney that I will face consequences.
Please help me out here he already left two voicemails THREATENED ME
The name on one of these complaints is Jacob Elliot backwards mmmmmmmmmm scam or not??????

The threatening indicates a scam, no legitimate debt collector will issue threats. A quick solution is to prevent unknown callers from getting a chance to leave you messages. No answer of any kind, no threats either, and these clowns are harmless. They're hoping their threats will frighten you into paying a bogus debt, however, you're likely to be hearing about it in the mail before anything if such a "debt" exists. Don't bother listening to the messages or be worried if you've received nothing in the mail.

The guy is now going by Ken Goldburg. Just 2 days ago I got the same call and I got my brother invovled. The guy had all my personal info but wouldn't send us any paperwork and gave us a huge runaround about what businesses he worked for and what's the name to the payday loan I supposed to have used. He quoted me it happened 7 years ago and quoted my brother it happened 3 years ago which it's illegal in the state of Arkansas to even use a payday loan. I've reported his name and the number he called me from. He had me scared and crying. He had me believing I was going to prison.
