Thanks for all the information about this phone number. I know I have gotten many (too many to count) from this SAME company. Too many for me to be able to block them all and maybe that is why they use or have so many, so it is not possible to block them all. No plans on answering and they never leave a message = good chance it is not a call that is important to me.

Just pay your bill that they bought off of someone that you defaulted on and they'll stop calling.

Another Portfolio Recovery call. They seem to call several times for awhile, then the calls stop & then start up again. I never answer when they call.

Hey Heywood, why don't you go back under your rock.  This is not always a  case of someone not paying a bill.  This particular company is terrible about keeping up on their records - if you tell them they have the wrong number, they keep calling and calling anyway.  If you tell them the relative they're trying to collect from is dead and even send them the death certificate to prove it - they keep calling.

They seem to have a pattern - they call 3-4x in a row, using an autodialer, then stop for a few days.  Then they start again.  I have a call blocker that stops them from ringing my phone, but it still logs the calls, so I know who it's blocking.
