Just had a call from 818-252-1981. He asked for the owner. When I said he wasn't here he asked for his cell number. I told him I don't give out his cell number. He then said "I think I have it in my back pocket....I guess I don't, can't you give it to me?" I then asked where he was calling from and he hung up.

This is one of those companies that have been around for years using different names.  They claim they are selling an item that is "overstock, ordered but cancelled by someone else, or in this case in a warehouse that was damaged by the weather".  I've had them try to sell me extension cords, sawzall blades, gloves, light bulbs, etc.  Each time the product is supposed to be superior to everything else or made by some name brand company.  In the case of the sawzall blades, they were supposed to be Lennox, and weren't.  This time he tried to sell me a socket set made by JBL which was supposed to be the same company as Snap On.  He wanted 389 bucks for the set, then dropped to 289 bucks.  I played him on the phone, then pretended we got cut of by the cell phone.  Kept him from bothering someone else for about 15 minutes anyhow. Hope they send me the set, cause i didn't order it, and if it shows up then it's a gift.

ACE INDUSTRIES - SCAM ARTISTS, RIPOFFS, LIARS.  THEY CALL CONSTANTLY WITH DIFFERENT PHONE NUMBERS.  THEY ALWAYS ASK FOR THE SERVICE MANAGER'S NAME AND THAT CLUES ME INTO RECOGNIZING IT'S NOT A LEGITIMATE COMPANY.  I ALWAYS ASK FOR THEIR NAME AND WHAT BUSINESS THEY WANT TO CONDUCT.  WHEN THEY SAY IT'S ACE INDUSTIRES - SLAM GOES MY PHONE !!!!!

THIS IS RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!!!YOUR SALES PEOPLE FALSE ADVERTISING YOUR COMPANY TO TRY TO MAKE A BUCK

On May 30 our company received a call from Jason promoting a 20pc drill bit. I inform Jason our company had no use for it, he insisted we try it out and if we did not want to keep it the company would  pick up from our location free of charge. After been so persist, I agree to get the product ship to us. I called ACE INDUSTRIES today and spoke with Clark and he in return stated that we have to ship the product back at our own expense; I asked to be transfer to Jason or be provided a phone number and was told by Clark that was not possible. Our company is not paying to keep a product we have no use or nor will we pay the return shipping charges.

Called and asked for "The Owner", I informed him we were a publically traded company and run by a board of shareholders.  I then asked if there was something I could help him with or maybe point him in the right direction, because we have done business with them recently. He then asked for the manager.  When asked for which department (because I have 8 managers, 2 operations managers, a general manager, a shop manager and 3 manager trainees) he said "I just want to tell you about our company".  I asked what his company does and he hung up.  

Ask enough questions and they go away.
