BoA has been nothing but a nightmare. With power of atty for my parents I have tried to work with them for months to get the mortgage redone, and finally was able to make some headway late summer.  My Mom died in March, both she and my dad have been in poor health, hospitalized, and in long term rehab care because of their physical condition. I can't tell you how many times I have faxed my mother's death certificate to these clowns and they just completely refuse to take her name off the account, the mailings, and the phone calls.  It's to the point that I am ready to tell the next BoA rep (they never check their files or notes, BTW), that asks for my mom that she does, in fact, have a new number but she's always on the phone talking with the angels and saints on the next cloud over in heaven.

collection company, BofA/Countrywide,

I am called consistently for collection of a debt by someone who is not me. My phone number can be verified and the collection company, BofA/Countrywide, assured my that they had verified I am not the debtor, and removed my number from the file, but I am still getting calls. I am not the debtor, have never had a loan with  BofA/Countrywide, and I am being harassed unnecessarily.
