Came in as a customer wanting to buy a large dollar web development item, which included paying a 3rd party consultant with the video and pictures for web theme design. How their charge cards made it pass the credit card merchants is not understood to me yet. Than one day they couldn't get a CC through and my merchant alerted me and later canceled my services. No charge backs are claimed at this point, its been less than 30 days of these transactions now. I don't know what happens next, all the money was used up!

The card numbers were probably good.  They were also probably stolen.  Anytime someone wants you to pay someone else, it should be a huge red flag.  You most likely will be charged back and you will be out the money and any bank fees.  This is a well known business scam, reported here several hundred times or more.

Same I.T. scam. Want me to build a website and pay with a 3rd party check and refund the difference
