They are pulling a classic scam, trying to send me a check for a large number of massage therapy sessions, then getting a partial refund from me, leaving me on the hook for the bad check.

Still being used for the same thing. Credit card scam. Pay in advance, then get a refund or send part of payment to "third" party. Came in via text.
