Same Alex Marshall called. Said we owe IRS and an arrest warrant has been filed against my husband. Clearly a scam as we do not owe the IRS. Still wondering how these people got our cell number. Thank you all for sharing similar stories.

i did the same. I called them back enough times with random crap they blocked ME. My favorite was when they told me they were sending cops to my house. I said i was The Batman and comisioner gordon and i were close.

My caller was Kevin Smith. I told him I loved clerks and he was awesome. Told me to f-off and hung up.

My husband got a call from this number - same as above - IRS agent claiming Fraud. Gave him some bogus code that he misrepresented on his tax returns.  Said he had to wire the money or an agent of the law (generic) will show up at his workplace
to arrest him.  Dumb a**es didn't know his wife is a tax accountant.
