Unfortunately I answered because I was expecting a local call around that time.  When I answered, a real person said, "Hello, is this Ric?".  I said yes, then I heard a muffled beep and some clicking followed by a different voice going into some spiel about donations to a police fund.  I figured it was a computer "talking" and I said "Is it raining there?".  The "voice" paused, said "Ok" and started the spiel all over.  I hung up and blocked the number.

Got a call from this number.  It said "Hold on".  Then repeated "Just a second here."  Then it hung up.

Same here. How they got my number I have no idea.

Unsolicited call on a Sunday!

My thoughts exactly. Called and asked for head of household. I said they weren't here and offered to take a message. Said he would try again later.
