Fullerton, CA! Called @ 11:02! Don't know who this is!

Called then hung up when they got my voicemail.

A call purporting to originate at this Fullerton landline arrived today.  When the call rolled to voice mail, the caller left no message.  This behavior is typical of robocallers (illegal telemarketers) who use automated dialers to place calls.  If a live person answers, the dialer transfers the call to a live telemarketer.  Slick, eh?  Best not to pick up calls from unfamiliar numbers.

Answered the call, there was a delay but it was a man stating to be with the police and the call would be recorded. He then asked for a donation but when I req info so  could research first he insisted I commit financially now and can add more donation after he sends me the thank you package. I hung up, seems like a scam

This call was suppose to be from the L. A. Police Dept. They wanted money for their police programs. I told him I did not have the money. He said $20 or $30 dollars is all they needed.
They wanted money now and would send packet later for more. I said no thank you and hung up.
I think this is a scam as they called me all the way in the placerville area!
