I get calls that begin with V and then other numbers and such. Mine are coming from a young man that is in Afghanistan. He is in the army. They have numbers like this so that they cannot be traced to their location. If you have someone over there, that might be why you are getting them.

Picked it up because it was a local number. Recording for Senior Security or some such thing. I went ahead and pressed 1 but they hung up before picking.
