Respect people's privacy and treat others how you want to be treated.  If someone asks to not be called, don't call them.  If someone says they are not going to pay, quit asking.  Lastly, if you don't like what you're hearing, don't just hang up on the person.. since you know you'll eventually call them back.  Kindly say "good bye" and honor your CUSTOMER'S request.

Solace Financial really needs to invest in customer service classes for their "customer service" reps, they are not as educated or well-mannered as they should be.  Especially when they're attempting to collect $$$$.

My second morgage disappeared for almost two years before Solace called me and tryed to collect. I started to make payments, but never got a statement or anything showing were my money was being applied to anything. I asked for it and never got anything. I asked them how much I owe on this so called loan and they are telling me almost $10,000.00 more than my original second morgage. I stopped paying and didn't hear from them for almost 3 months. Now I have a new guy calling me, his name is Mario and not a pleasant person. What choices do I have? They don't report anything to the credit bureaus. I am an honest guy and if I owe someone, then I will pay, but if I am never going to pay this thing off unless I run into alot of money all at once...... then what is the point?

I paid the $100.00 good faith payment and settled my 2nd mortgage for approximately 15% of what was owed. I have no complaints. Although it was against my attorneys advice, but I think my attorney only wanted my $ also.
