Just received a call from these jerks. Thanks for all the updates and information provided. Is there a way to stop them or report them. This is crazy. Said they were the IRS.

Got a call from a automated service saying the IRS has a lawsuit filed against me, called and a man named Mark Hanson said he is an investigator for the IRS and there is an affidavit for a lawsuit against me.  I looked this number up and told him the IRS don't call you they send you a certified letter first and that this is a bogus call and a scam.  He promptly said oh okay thank you ma'am.

This person from the IRS wanted $20,000 pounds immediately.  My reply was I don't know what you are talking about.  When asked why are they doing this he said because he was going to marry my wife.   Hung up- SCAM!!!

Got a call from a Michael Black internal Revenue Service wanting to talk to my wife  badge number 77962.  About Tax Miscalculation.  I told this person I was her husband and we file jointly so he can talk to me about it.  He indicated for confidentiality purposes he had to talk to my wife.  I said the phone number was in my name.  Asked where are you located 11 Constitution Avenue.  He asked me why he was getting feedback on the phone and I told him I work from home and it is a speaker phone and have had no problems all day.  he hung up.  I called the number he gave me and I got an Middle Eastern Indian accent woman and I asked for confirmation.  She asked me for my phone number assuming they already had it gave it to her.  She indicated we must speak with xx my wife and I told her to speak to me since we file jointly.  She said as a good citizen I should understand that they can only speak to my wife I should have her call.  We aren't calling.  Check is in the mail
