Received a call from these people today, claiming to be a mediation group. The lady said that I took out a payday loan in 2012, in which I didn't even live in the US in 2012, I was overseas that entire year. She asked me if I just forgot about the loan and how I would like to take care of payment today. I simply told her to send me something in writing and hung up. I've fallen for these people in the past, and learned they were scammers, I am hip to these tricks, so I am not falling for it, and no one else should either.

Monica Bell on behalf of Impact Mediation left voice mail yesterday threatening to "serve" me at home or work or contact my employer. Left another message today indicating it's my last chance to contact or I'm forfeiting my rights and the unknown plaintiff is going to take "action".
I have filed a complaint with the CFPB. Any debt collector is obligated by law to verify debt IN WRITING.

"Impact Mediation" is a scam they called me and my X of 14 yrs ago... wth!!.. They tried to pressure me into giving my personal information and saying they have 2 allegations against me and have been trying to find me since 2011. I said really where's the letters she wouldn't answer just wanted my last 4 of my social when I slammed back with my rights asking them to recite the debt collection verbiage she didn't even know what it was. I told her go file and let me know how that goes and knock yourself out she got so frustrated and told me she has other clients and hung up on me. Straight bogus don't give them anything!!!

they have been calling my family and former employer too. They even called my ex-husband!
Also I have received emails from them with my SSN. I read something on the FBI scammers page that said these companies may have our SSNs because we may have applied for a credit card online and it was either a false company or the information was sold.

Called my employer and family saying I was going to be arrested.
