This one has been going for years. Someone claiming to be collecting money for some sort of police fund. Seems to be a recording because he doesn't know what I say back. When I call to check the number, I get a kind of busy signal but higher pitched than usual. Scam no doubt.

They called claiming to be from NYPD. Asked if my name was Margarita, I said yes then they hung up. I called the number back and it said the number was not a working number.
