This one has been going for years. Someone claiming to be collecting money for some sort of police fund. Seems to be a recording because he doesn't know what I say back. When I call to check the number, I get a kind of busy signal but higher pitched than usual. Scam no doubt.

Definite scam ,calls three times a day just do not answer. Anyone knows business people do not call on 646 unknown cell numbers

Scam.  This time the number claimed to be calling from "NY Police Chiefs Association".  Same number linked to other ruses.  Rudely hung up as soon as I mentioned "do not call list".
