Dear,
Recruiting agencies ask for SSN just to check if you have ever worked with a particular client recruiter is recruiting for. If you have worked wit that client then "are you eligible for re-hire?". even if you never worked with that particular client still SSN is needed as exp part from resume can be removed. Not all clients needs  SSN. Some of them need last 4 digits of SSN. some of them need full SSN. And your SSN is fully safe and confidential. It is put in a confidential database as soon as recruiters receive it. Only hiring manager can access it. No one else can access it.

Thanks,
Recruiter,

The recruiting game these days is mainly made up of ex telemarketers from India and China. Some of these guys are downright nasty that you do not want to talk to them about an out of state job paying half what you are making now. I'm talking collection agency nasty, so better to let them go to voice mail and just listen to the numbers you recognize.

If you are posting on job sites I would recommend either getting Google Voice  or a Magic Jack number so you can screen your calls. Google is a free service and is great for this since it lets you white list your phone to only allow though the people on your approved list. The rest can be made to give their name and wait for you to decide to talk to them. You can even black list them so your phone never rings and give groups of numbers personalized messages. WONDERFUL! Great for collections agencies looking for on ex or the guy that used to have your phone number too.

Oh and it should go without saying but NEVER use you main email address on these sites unless you want most of your email to be about out of state drug scams.

Man it is some real idiots on this page... Rose intenational is a great recruiting company and if they have called you that means that you have posted your resume and made it public on some job site Career  Builder, Monster, Dice...etc. They are out here to help you not hurt you. I got a call from Nicole Walker from Rose International about a position wih Bank of America that she was recruiting for that paid $20.00 an hour I was employed at the tme seeking employment in mortgage industry because were I worked I was being under paid making only 11.73 an hour. I faxed the information over that she sent to my email and within a week later she called me saying Bank of America would like to set up an interview with me. True enough they only recruit for temp-to-hire positions but I was willing to take that chance with that much of a pay increase. My paychecks were issued from Rose international not Bank of America because I was technically not a BOA employee and was paid every week. Long story short my contract lasted 3 months and I was asked to go permanent and I accepted and now I am a proud BOA employee making 22.00 an hour because the actually BOA paya a little more than the recruiting agency.

Then why are you even looking up the number on this site? "Happy customers don't do that because there is no reason. Scammers do though, they do it a lot.

We can only hope this site is making it more difficult for you to harvest SSNs and steal money and identity from your victims. Real honest recruitment companies don't have to come on this site, call people idiots, and insist they're not a scam LOL!

I think we know who the REAL idiots on this page are.

Amit from Rose International asked for an exclusive form to be filled in with complete social security number and birth date. However, he did not request the form to be signed. All other exclusive forms I've filled in for other recruiters require a signature. I do not feel comfortable with this company because they solicited me and quickly asked for mey social and date of birth. I gave a bogus date of birth and only the last 4 of my social.  He called back to say he wanted my complete social.  Where I live it is not legal to use the social security number for identification. I did not give it. DO NOT GIVE SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER AS IDENTIFICATION. I will not work with this company.  I'd rather work with a local company with a local telephone number. The employers want only LOCAL CANDIDATES. Therefore, WORK ONLY WITH LOCAL RECRUITERS keeping the work and money in the local economy..

Below is what I received from 'Kevin' about a BofA job.  He sent this email because I refused to give him my SSN.  No legit org would ever ask for your SSN!!!!   What a shame, the job search is so hard and depressing without this kind of CRAP!

FOR THIS POSITION, REHIRE STATUS MUST BE CONFIRMED PRIOR TO SUBMITTING THE CANDIDATE TO THE CLIENT, EVEN IF THE CANDIDATE HAS NOT PREVIOUSLY WORKED FOR BANK OF AMERICA/COUNTRYWIDE/MERRILL LYNCH.

TO COMPLETE THIS REQUEST WE MUST SUBMIT THE FULL SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER FOR MATCHING AGAINST THE REHIRE DATABASE. THIS WILL CROSS CHECK THE CANDIDATES SSN AGAINST ALL OF THE EMPLOYEES/CONTRACTORS WHO HAVE EVER WORKED FOR THE BANK. IF THE CANDIDATE HAS WORKED THERE BEFORE, THE RESULT WILL RETURN WITH YES, THEY ARE OR NO, THEY ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR REHIRE. IF THEY HAVE NOT WORKED WITH THE BANK BEFORE THE RESULT WILL RETURN AS “NO MATCH”.  EITHER WAY WE NEED TO RUN THE REQUEST PRIOR TO SUBMITTING THE CANDIDATES RESUME.
