Did not answer, as I refuse to answer calls from numbers I do not recognize.

It seems once you get rid of one idiot company another one pops up; this  place calls me several times a day, regardless of the hour.  Leaves a message that is very hard to understand-too much of a foreign accent-they are looking for someone whom I don't know, and I guess by harrassing innocent people, maybe they will get somewhere.  I would love to know who employees these folks, perhaps a good talking to with a baseball bat is in order.

Lady on the phone had a thick foreign accent. I caught her asking for a first name, which is mine, but couldn't make out the last name completely. I asked her several times who she was asking for. I heard my first name, but the last name was so muffled and jumbled I couldn't make it out. I asked her to spell out the last name of the person she was looking for. She refused and said I was being difficult. I then asked who was calling and the lady said I must give her my social security number and a credit card number so she can verify who I am. I told her no way. She said that I had to pay on a Target store credit card. Informed the lady that I don't have a credit card and haven't had any kind of credit card in years. She kept demanding my social security number and said "bad things" would happen to me if I refused to cooperate. When I asked her what kind of bad things (out of curiosity), she said "some people get hurt when they don't pay". No clue what that meant.

At that point I hung up. I got 7 call backs in a row a few with heavy breathing and two that kept screaming my first name in the phone and saying they'll never stop.

the woman's name is Stacia, she will not reason with you and she will not give any details other than, 'You owe a balance on your account'. They are NARS, National Account Recovery Service, and are the primary collections agency for "My Sports Clubs"; Boston, New York, Washington, & Philadelphia Sports Clubs. She just told me I have a balance of $154 as of Feb 5, even though I had cancelled my membership last November. I hate these people. Why can't we trust merchants selling services any more!?!
