I got a call from this number today. My baby was crying really loudly so I purpously answered the phone. She was loud so it was hard to hear the foreigner on the other end. But I managed to tell her that person she was asking for was not home and what was the call regarding. They gave me that same 888 number to call back. She gave me her name "Melissa" and she told me that it was a personal business matter. I laughed and told her that if she won't tell me what it's regarding that I refuse to pass on the message and to please stop calling. Being on the do not call list is soooo not helping in regards to these types of calls. A lot of these company's that call our house, will call a few times, won't leave a message but listens to the voicemail enough to find out whom the number belongs to. Once they get your name off the voicemail, they call you back and ask for you by name, making it sound personal.

Having read the other notes, I realize now this is referencing the FORMER
holder of my phone number (2 years ago) for whom I receive literally
dozens of collection agency, law firm and govt calls every month.
She is still using her old cell number for her scams.  Today is the day
I simply must get a new cell phone number.

keep calling even though the account was paid years ago and I have told them to stop calling me!
