Called today - foolishly I answered b/c the area code was local - recording said I was eligible for some student loan debt relief. Since I haven't had a student loan in over 20 years, clearly this is a spam call.

I just got a call from this number; all that showed up on Caller ID was the number, and no name.  The recording said that this was about student loan forgiveness and that if I wanted to participate in having this applied to my student loans or get scheduled for paying my loans back, I should respond with 1 to accept or 5 to decline. I didn't do either and it disconnected me. When I tried calling back the number, there was no live person; only a recording asking if I wanted to place them on the blocked list. SCAM. I don't have any student loans. Someone looking for my personal identification info, I'm quite sure.

Telemarketer asking if you need debt relief for student loans. Press 5 to be added to their DNC list because, evidently, the donotcall.gov list has a loophole that allows these people to call.

Student loan scam here from 636-224-3292 Market Place & all cs reps busy so leave a name & # for a call back. Heres our message: Pupil pays their debts & Another sees thru anglers so quit fishing & get a REEL job!
