Several calls everyday, need this number to stop calling, don't have a clue as to what they could want,they never leave a message

I just signed up with Verizon last night. I got a call this afternoon. They hung up when I answered. I don't know what they wanted. Hopefully I'll figure it out soon. I won't call the number back to find out.

I agree in part. There are various posts about people receiving calls claiming to be from Verizon. They advise people to go a site that has no connection to them. So I would say people should ALWAYS call a Verizon number they are familiar with or a number that appears on their website.

As a former Verizon customer, I would never answer or call a number that I wasn't familiar with. There are too many bogus operations that spoof their caller id information and I don't think it is worth taking a chance with this either. People should only contact Verizon using the number on their statement or the Verizon website.

We just received a call from this telephone number for my son's account. We called Verizon about this and they said this was a scam and not to respond to this number. Verizon blocked this number from calling my phone.
