That number came up in my callerID sometimes in 2012 and again it came up today. I just ignored it & let it ring. I got several scam calls frequently for a few years, but callerID device helps a lot tho. I'm just tired of those calls. If that is really important that they want us to know, they will send us a letter about it. That is all I could do in a sensible manner at this time to handle those scam callers.

To follow my first message because I mispelled the name of the caller. It should be Direct Energy. Sorry...

I no longer answer calls from this number but today the idiot left a voice-mail.  He said "This is Michael from..." and it sounded like "Head Small Business Services" but I could have that wrong because he didn't speak very clearly (imagine).  He said "I need someone to call me back"

I immediately LOL'd.

He then toned it down and asked that someone please call him back at 877-423-0172.Googling that number shows people referring to "Hess Small Business Services" and the same gas/electric supplier SCAM noted by others in this thread.

I need someone to call me back.  That just killed me.

No message left.  Caller ID was "DIRECT ENERGY."  Presumed telemarketer.

HOW DO I GET THESE PEOPLE TO STOP CALLING ME?
