I got this call today saying I had a law suit against me.  When we adamantly told them no and nonsense, they hung up!!!  Scary considering they knew my name and private home phone number!

I got multiple calls about this scam today.  At first, I was scared and increase my heartbeat and might have an heart attack from this call.  Then another one called again, without an unknown number.  The number called are

(951) 263-5779
(571) 210-5551

They all have strong Indian accent.

such calls needs to be stopped, but I don't know how to make them stopped.  They even claimed they are officers.

I received 3 calls from this number, 2 went on the answering machine, the 3rd I picked up.  First of all, the message is not from a live person, but a robo recording.  Second, my name was never mentioned.  Yes, it was a thick Indian accent that mispronounced words like "represen-tay- tive" for representative, referred to himself as Officer Melvin.   On a radio talk show last night a caller said he believed the message, called back and was instructed to mail a debit card in some astronomical amount (didn't say where).  The caller also said he was an engineer, maybe smart, but a total moron to believe this could be real.  So it makes me wonder that this must be a very lucrative scam with a lot of "smart" people falling for it.  Depressing.

Left a message on my answering machine. This is a scam from someone claiming to be with the IRS. Said a warrant was being issued for my arrest if I did not call back to talk to a legal "rep-ray-sen-ta-teeve."  Report this scam to the IRS if you receive a call. Go to WWW.titga.gov

So after being told that if I didn't contact them immediately, they were issuing a warrant for my arrest, "Officer Miller" advised me to have a nice day.  There is no lower group than this spam-scum.
