Got a similar call from a male caller with an Asian Indian accent around 9 am, Feb. 6. He claimed an IRS agent and wanted me to provide tax filing information to IRS at 530-208-9830 (mentioning Mike Johnson).

Got a similar call; here is a transcript of the message:

I am girl(?) so we can do very second you receive this message I need you or your retained attorney off record to return the call. issue-at(?) the hand is extremely time sensitive. My name is David reach eric(?) and I'm calling you from IRS Internal Revenue Service Department and hotline to my division is 5302089830. I repeat it's 5302089830. Don't try to disregard this message and do return the call as soon as possible before any kind of legal allegations take place. We have determined that there has been certain deficiency falling your income tax. So call us back as soon as possible. Goodbye and take care

Received same call 5 time today (02/06) from 530-208-9830 claiming to be from IRS and asked me to call back and talk to some John Miller...Has a Very Indian Accent...
I Googled the phone number to check possible scam... and found various websites with same number to call back. Definitely looks to be a scam!

This Phone # is 530-208-9830 is registered with S LK TAHOE CA name.

GOT SCAM CALL ALSO

I got a call from this same number. He said his name was John. He said he was from the IRS and to call back ASAP or legal action would occur. This is a scam a person trying to get money from you.
