This is a scam. They are from India. IRS never calls or emails. I have reported this to the IRS. Do not pay attention to any calls. IRS only sends mail. They keep changing the numbers and calls are forwarded to India. Put an end to these scams. Call IRS 800-829-1040 if you have any questions. Never pay attention to any other numbers.

computer generated call. No name was said but said I was being sued by irs and needed to call back immediately.
Called number man with heavy middle eastern accent answered. Lots of noise in background.

This is indeed a scam! The best thing to do is not call the IRS! Instead, call the Federal Trade Commission 877-382-4357... They will be more than happy to file your complaint as well as provide you with a complaint ref #...
