Got a call from 508-794-9310.  "power center" appeared on my call screen.
I did not pick up.  I am on DNC register AND  my number is unlisted.
IT DOESN'T HELP.

Last call of this sort was from area code 715.  I picked up the phone and dropped
F-bombs, cussing them out brutally,  then hung up.

I leave my answering machine off when I'm at work.

Anyone know if it is an urban legend that, if you pick up an unknown call but hit the # key repeatedly, that is messed up their computers at the other end?  If it were allowed, I'd pay for a drone strike on these sorts of (expletives).

These are bottom dwellers that have to look up to see a clams [***]..  Another day off at the Nat'l DNCL..        Left no message....

Robocall claiming to be a follow-up to the rate reduction message on my last power bill. Gee, WHICH COMPANY do I have, geniuses?

These idiots called my DNC listed landline again.  My call blocker disconnected them after one ring so the persistent buggers called right back.  For some reason, my call blocker allowed it to ring repeatedly.  (Usually on immediate call-backs, it disconnects after the second ring.  Oddly, not this time.)  As I wasn't near the phone at the time, I did not pick up.  Gee, it breaks my heart not to have answered a phone call from a scam artist.  Boo hoo.  May they all rot in the lowest level of Hades.  As they are illegally calling my DNC listed line, they are clearly scam artists or a company that is less than legitimate because legitimate, law-abiding companies would comply with the DNC list.

Called at 7:20 pm. Picked up because call was from local 508 area code. Tell-tale delay while call rerouted to live telemarketer..."hello, this is Amanda". Scam call, added to blocked list.
