Yet another scheme to sell electricity from an entity that does not have one foot of copper wire nor one Watt of generating capacity.
Had a shouting match at my door last week from yet another canvasser, this time from Viridian-Who also mails and runs newspaper ads- Almost as bad as being stalked to return to Comcast!
.  Kind of like "Amway for Electricity".  One of these places charges the First-Line sucker $300 for the opportunity to sell their scam to the second-line suckers.

This number called my DNC listed landline today at 1325 hours.  As I usually do for numbers I don't recognize (and because nearly all the calls I receive on my landline are scam artists), I picked up the phone but didn't say anything immediately.  Because I live in the 508 area code, I finally said, "Hello?" after a lengthy pause.  There was no response.  Apparently the caller was already disconnecting.  The next step, of course, is to come here to 800notes to find out if others have received calls from the number.  I'm glad I got them to give up on them before I had to listen to some annoying, illegal robo-message or live scam artist.  Even if it was a "legitimate" company calling, they were in clear violation of the DNC list which makes them less-than-legitimate.

Being harassed (repeated unwanted calls) to my do not call #. Twice already I followed their procedure to be removed from their list. Can reach a live person. Getting ready to file a complaint against them for violation.

Our electric bill just rose 29% for apparent no good reason, except a Texas company bought most electric companies in Massachusetts and and consolidated the companies to make it more efficient, that made our electricity bills go up by 29% (and not down what effigy usually means).
