I was just called.

PORTFOLIO RECOVERY! I did a quick search of this number so looks like those nuts are after me again!
These guys do not give up! Trying to collect on very old long written off credit card debt from about 15 ago! These guys have called me for over 5 years now! When it 1st started it got very bad as my work had to tell them to stop calling. They call my family looking for me and when I did finally talk with them the guy was a jerk. When I told him this is old credit card dept. that was long written off they guy told me I still owed it and I would pay!
I think these guys buy old written off debt  and try to make money by making you think it is still something you must pay or else.
I guess if they badger you and your family and your work you will pay. Portfolio uses phone numbers all over the country to try and call you. I have over 50 phone numbers saved as my contact named " DO NOT ANSWER". The calls slowed down the last (2) years but sadly my mom answered her cell and talked with them and told them I was her son...so... the constant calling begins again... Over 5 years of calling me and my family and my work  3-5 times a week now starting again and will go forever! Nothing will make them stop even telling them you are no longer alive!
Sorry portfolio, I am not going to pay you over $2,500 for an old Sears card I last used in 1994! 20 years ago! My credit report is perfect the last 8 years or so with a credit score over 800! Just Go away as I will not pay Portfolio anything!

this number has called my cell three times asking for another mener of my family.  will not give any information.  scam and should block the number
