Same experience as Larkin.  They call asking for the owner by his first name like they are his best friend.
I screen his calls and he does not take cold calls either. Refuse to identify themselves or their company.  When I offer to transfer them to an anonymous voice mail, they hang up.

Cold call asking for the owner by name, when told they are not available, said that he will email them, like he's been talking to them already.... Yeah right.

Gary called from Burt & Assoc. asking for the owner by name regarding an invoice for the Wingate project.  Considering I set up all the jobs, I knew this was bogus and tried to waste as much of his time as possible. Got to about 5 mins. & he knew I was on to him & this call was going no where. All of a sudden he was gone - sorry Gary! We must have had a bad connection!!
