The recorded call stated that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against us.

I just got the same recording about the IRS bringing a lawsuit against me, or someone at this number.

Just got a phone call and they said they were the I.R.S. and I hung up immediately! Seen something on this  being a scam! the I.R.S. will mail you never call you!

THIS IS AN ONGOING  SCAM! Just hang up.

The IRS will not call you out of the blue, ask for payment, or threaten you with a suit.  The IRS does not use unsolicited email, text messages or any social media to discuss your personal tax issue. For more information on reporting tax scams, go to www.irs.gov and type “scam” in the search box.

They said they was the IRS and was filing a law suite against us. gave me a number to call which i did not do as i do not owe irs to start with. I hate scare tactics!
