i just got a text from that number, addressing me by name.  i know people in the part of california this number apparently is from, but i don't recognize this number, and they haven't responded to my "who is this?"

This number just did the same thing to me, but when i asked who it was, the number responded with, "hahaha if you want to know who this is go to yahoo messanger and my name is alannahpu026"  and then that their phone was running out of battery. It happened about 4pm EST. Sounds like a scam.

I got a text saying they haven't heard from me in a while from this same number, they Also knew my name.

just got the exact same messages....told that cel phone is going dead and to go to Yahoo messenger.

Definately a scam!

10-14-2012 I received the same text message using my first name. I didnt respond BUT how are they getting our Names and personal cell numbers? It's a bit unnerving.
