Dear Sir,
As one of those people that call others for the organization in question, first and FOREMOST let me apologize for that call. There's simply no excuse for that. I believe that I know who that was calling you. I'm not sure, but I have a pretty good guess (hovering around 90% certainty). Besides apologizing again (and really, that was a very crude call and I don't doubt your veracity one bit so I can't apologize enough), all I can say is that I truly believe in this company and the work that they do. Last year they raised $119,000 for the local funds and I've seen the good that it does FIRST-HAND in the short time that I've been with them. With that being said, I can PROMISE you that there is a small subset of people who are naturally inclined to hang up when the hear who's calling. Many of these people actually hear about what we do, buy tickets and come see some pretty cool shows with us (Lonestar's coming up, don't miss them!), so there really is a very fine line between letting them know we're not a scam from out-of-state and not being rude. It's a nuance that some struggle with. I can promise that if you ever hear from me, I'll NEVER be rude to you, nor will anyone else who wants to keep their job there. Our entire existence is engendered by YOUR good will and the owners and managers all realize that. Thanks for your time, and one more time on the idiot's behalf, I do apologize.
