Called at 10:03PM. Would not tell me the name of their business after I yelled (cussed) at them for calling so late. Caller ID unavailable #417-833-8296

Same MO: calling after 11:00 pm, Caller ID: Springfield, MO, left no message on the machine. I called the number back this morning: got a "this number has been disconnected" message... I suppose a person could set up their answering machine to produce the same message, of course.
My concern: my poor Mom has been inundated with calls from someone who insists they are from Microsoft, who ignore her pleas to STOP CALLING. I'm just gonna block the number on my phone, but I don't know how to help my Mom!

Called on THANKSGIVING during dinner, of all times. I didn't answer since I don't know anyone from this number.

The only persons who should be touching your computer is you, your manufacturer, Real Windows support that you have called and/or maybe a real live tech you see face to face! And be very very leery of numbers when you look to call the real ones, there are fake websites up. Never call numbers from pop ups either, thats scareware.
