Received call from someone saying they are from IT World Canada. They actually have been constantly calling my work for the past week, my colleague would try to put them through to my voicemail as I know it is a scam. I finally decided to talk to them today and like last year, these ppl want to send me a report through my email they have?! like ok... he said he got the info from my supervisor in the US.... I am not in the US lol I told the guy to remove me from their list and stop calling, which I did when they call last year claiming to be calling on behalf of Symantech - name of company in the email was Candorworks, in Pune.

Unfortunately delisting your number won't help they use robo-dialers that go through whole streams on numbers in the exchange. If you were 555-4954 for example, the dialer dials all numbers between 555-0000 to 555-9999 so they will hit yours - listed or not.

Didn't answer. Looks like the scammers are still using this number.

Same gig .. claim to be from the Government of Canada from the Public Safety Department ..The Domain Safety Department  even gave me the website and phone number ... Called himself  Shane Decoster ... but based on the heavy Asian accent I doubt it ...  Wanted me to confirm my computer serial number as a starter .. I asked for his number and told him I would call him back after I had checked all this out ...  I got all kinds of excuses why I could not call back ...  Just a scamster ...  wasting time ..  ... they are such a pain .. not the first one I have had on the line ..

Just received a call from this number , informing me that someone was using my "computer licence number" from Mexico. I quizzed him on who he was and the Company name. He kept telling me he was from the Cyber fraud Dept of ITCU.  He had a strong Indian accent so I told him I was hard of hearing and could he explain it again slowly. He then asked me to press the Windows Key & R on my keyboard. I asked him to call back in an hour as I was very busy at the moment.
Checked on-line and found all this good info on this website.
Thanks,
