Natasha from Dell called yesterday and twice in the last 20 minutes.  She asked for the same IT person, who doesn't exist, in order to send information.  I instructed her that company policy dictates that anything of this nature be mailed through the US Postal Service and gave the address.  Does she have a short attention span, or did she think she'd get somebody else on the board with a different answer?  Several recent callers have plainly made that intention known to me, and I've lost count of how many individuals (am being polite) have said they don't have either the time or the interest to snail mail anything.  Sorry, folks, but if you want to do business with us, you either play by the rules or leave the park.

The call that I received was from someone who said she was working in Ottawa for a government department that monitors activity on the computer and they had detected a problem on mine - sound familiar?? Eventually she gave me her number as 310-299-0977 which is a company in California. How do they use such numbers? Obviously I do not believe any of it but someone should be doing something to stop this kind of scam.

call from this number...said I have a problem with my server. Told her I don't, she asked if I anted to talk about it. I said no and hung up!

Got same phone call. Was a man with heavy accent, I could hardly understand him. He said he was with a Government agency. I finally had my husband talk to him. With much interrogation on our part he said our computer had been hacked and he could the results on his screen. Wanted us to enter our computer and send him information. My husband asked him to send us email if he indeed had access and could see our computer. He responded he didn't have time.
