Phoned Bell Canada, he explained it is a US Credit Card Company making the calls to increase business by using their card.  This is how they are not affected by the Do Not Call List. The call originates in the states.  He said these calls started up about a week ago to get you to sign and get a card from this company.

His best advice is if you don't recognize the number don't answer the call.  usually the number ends is sequence (i.e 4321, 1234, etc.)

I played along for a while. I should have record it. I told the guy. That had very high rates. He seemed exited about it. Ask to speak to manager after i was done wasting his time. I got the manager Indian who told me his name was Larry Fry. Yea ok. You can't call them back from what i am getting. I would like to waste there time. With my own calling. Anyone got there number. The 905 does't work. 3 call scaming me today. 416 005 4321.929 200 9110. and 904 863 0208. So much for staying home and getting some rest from work. I got more annoyed begin at home that would have at work. I am sick with fever 101. and i have to hear these scamers wast my time. Do not call list does not seem to be working well.

There is no need for a whistle as that is assault, just don't answer the phone if you don't want to talk to them. If you answer they will call again, because someone has picked up the phone, if you don't answer you get off their list, or simply say "take me off your list". I get calls too, and I don't answer so they only call once, I never have had the same call twice. Think about it, it's an awful job but people need jobs to survive. blowing a whistle in their ear won't stop them from calling.
