I call John and the LA CNTY FOP C4C - bull chit!
Police organizations DO NOT call people at their homes!
Why would an organization in San Francisco call to solicit funds for Los Angeles Police?
A web site???  Now days, anyone can have a web site!
Have received calls in the past for the same BS.
I know a lot of cops - they have never heard of this organization.

Have blocked their calls and suggest you do the same!  Buy a call blocking phone.

8/20 19:56 Call came last night and person stayed on long enough to ask for lady of the house.  I didn't answer since unfamiliar name and San Francisco area code.  Realized this AM that whoever they are have called before from several other numbers.  Don't understand why asking for lady, but don't really care since I am not about to answer any calls from strangers!

It smells. Asking for the lady of the house. Why? It is scam 100%. Wish i wouldnt have answered. I hung up on him mid sentence!!!

They called again and again, their call was blocked.  They also call from a 408 area code.

This is NOT legit.  LA County Police Officers Organizations will not call you with a 415 area code. nor will they call you directly at all.  If you wish to donate to a local police organization, call them directly - google the memorial foundations, or police foundations for your City.  DO NOT trust people who call you and ask for donations, they do not solicit funds that way.
