You can't stop  the calls from being initiated.  The calls are coming from India or Pakistan.  You can, however, protect yourself iwth a call blocker.  Also do not pick up on calls you do not recognize.

Sad to be the first to have to post but this number is connected to a scam.  They say ther are America Advance or Advance America and ask you for your account info to process your loan application. Then they will give you an amount to put on a greendot money pak reload card. They don't want any plastic card number. When you call them back, the amount of the card is wrong. This is their way of getting you to get another card. After checking your account as well as you reload card, there is no money there. They are using a San Francisco, CA area number: 415-251-4981. Kevin Danh or something is the rep.

It is ILLEGAL to be forced to pay BEFORE obtaining the loan (or grant or prize) in the United Sates.

That reload card payment  is a dead give-a-way to a SCAM.  That card is equal to cash -untraceable!!

Advance fee loans are illegal period and in some states, so are the payday loans.   Please be aware the scammers may also claim down the road that you have taken a loan and try to extort money from you that way as well!

I too get a message from "Lisa" at Advance America in which she stated I was approved for a $7,000 loan.  Ha, my credit is bad and there is no way anyone would loan me $7,000.  Be aware that this is a scam and No one should get a green dot card in order to get money.  I fell for that once and never got the loan money in my account.  Never again.  If you need a loan, google the company or the phone number they are calling from and make sure they are legit.

This dummy claims to be an investigator from the IRS.  What an idiot!!!  The IRS does not make phone calls. Furthermore, he claims to be investigating the current year.  The current year taxation has not happened yet.  According to the internet, he is from a company called America Advance.  I told him off, and I called him back several times.  What a sick dude to be scamming people for Christmas.  I hope he gets what he deserves!!!
