I just e-mailed the Attorney General's office about this number.  Hopefully, they check it out.

We received several phone calls from 409-209-9863.  They identified themselves as State Bureau of Texas.  They asked for an employee who did work here at the time of the original phone call.  He stated in that call that my employees boyfriend was being investigated for fraud.  
While this employee no longer works here, we received another phone call from this same number.  They stated their name as Alex Jefferson but they had a mid-eastern accent which was difficult to understand.  The connection was horrible.  When we told them she did not work here they stated we were covering up for this employee and they threatened to investigate my company for fraud.  This is how I got involved.  I then called the number and asked for clarification as to who they are.  They refused to answer my questions but kept saying he was from the State Bureau of Texas.  Because of the accent I asked if he was saying Texas or taxes.  He got angry and just kept repeating himself.  I told him that we had received a threat from their office and I was trying to get to the bottom of it.  I gave him the name Alex Jefferson who he said he did not know that person.  I gave him my phone number and he said they had not called it.  He was incredibly beligerant and non-forthtelling.  In my frustration told him he was crazy and he hung up.  I am very concerned over these harrassing phone calls and that they have my company name, former employee name, her boyfriends name, and my phone number.  I do not know what to do as I feel afraid.

I have read the posts regarding the phone calls from this number.  My office has received several as I have posted on this website as they have threatened my employee who no long works here and they threatened my company.  this is of grave concern and I do not know who to contact regarding this threat.

I have been getting the same calls, I heard there are "companies" like this hacking into websites where are private info is stored and calling and making the threats. I hung up at work then they called my cell phone. It said there are 3 charges against me I know are false. He said he didn't appreciate my hanging up on him yet said "I am trying to help you because I beleive you are a genuine person" on my cell phone vmail. He also called from Kountze, TX area code then called from my home town area code so they are manipulating the phones. I changed my bank account and was told to contact the local FBI office. I hope someone can stop these crooks. It must work enough or they would stop doing this.
