Received a call from this number around 10:30 a.m. EST in Florida.  No id other than number on Caller ID.
Wife received the call, was about lowering the interest rate on her card(s.)  No company name given, etc.  Left toll-free callback number...can't find it in various reverse look up services.  Left the name Ken Adams (most likely spurious) and said would call back at 1p.m.  Wife wisely asked them to mail her the information...that's when they left the call back number.  No legitimate banking entity operates this way.

I received this call !/26/11 9:30 am , est. The caller said I had a balance on a Bank of America Visa Card over $3,000 !!! I advised him I do not have ANY Credit cards (praise the Lord) but I would like the # of the credit card. He abruptly hung up on me.
(I wanted the details on this card so i can check out if someone was using my name for credit <have i got a surprise for them!>)

The caller was a black male with a foreign accent.

credit card lower rate.the person that i talk to is from INDIA, and he said that we have a new lower rate for your credit card,, and i asked him how do you know what kinde of rate do i have on my credit card without my info, he said let me take a look at, give me your credit card number, and i will let you know,,and i told him , but you said that you know that my rate is not good, long story short be carful people,,,,,,,,,,scamers big time,,,,,,,i hate this boll.

i got the call today, at came as cellular call # 406-478-2002. and it was talking about some lower rate on my credit card, and daaaaaa you know that thei are scams, i pushed 1 to talk to them, and some guy came on the phone from INDIA,  he said we have some specials for your credit card, and he said your rate it's about to expire,, first of all how does the rate expiers,, you know that thei are scamers, and i played along, am ok how do you know wich of my credit cards is, o yes sir give me your credit card # and all let you know,, and i said ok here is my number, and i gave him a number that i made up, and he was so stupid , i think i gave him like 20 number more that a credit card would have, right there, you can tell how stupid he was, and i said to him you are an idiot, try and scam someone ells you moran, be carful people please, and report these people please,,,,,,
