called twice within a minute and left no msg. Called number and was given option to "opt out" by pressing 1.  Who/what are they?

They claim they are financial advisory services in Orlando, and they can lower my credit card interest rate if I give them my credit card number.  RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I told him I was going to call the fraud bureau on him.

He didn't even know which type of credit card I have.  RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I received a call from 'Visa-Mastercard services' to lower my interest rate on my credit card(s).  I went along with this for a while because the woman caller quoted me my exact balances, but wanted the credit card numbers.  Unthinking, I gave her the numbers.  I have called these credit card companies to report and have asked for new cards to be issued.

I am very upset that this is a scam and they now have some of my credit card numbers.

If they are calling, and you are on the do not call list, report them. It's a $5000 fine each time. It has help me put a stop to such nonsense.

The caller ID only had the number. They did not leave a message and were gone by the time I picked up (my message was still going).

Got a call from these people posing as Bank officials.  The bank they were supposely calling from I do not have an account with.  When I told them this they immediately hung up.
