"Account Services" total pain, credit consolidator scam.. hung up on me when I asked what company this is associated with.

just got a call from this number - they hung up on me!

They just called my phone.  I knew it was a scam so I gave them all bogus info.  I made sure I told them a high dollar amount of credit debt and tried to sound like an elderly person.  Gave them a 70 year old birthdate.  when he came back on the line after calling Capital One, he said that he wanted to review the account with me.  I told him the problem was that all the info I gave him was bogus and that this was a scamming call.  He replied with, "Well now you have just shot yourself in the foot and you will see what happens now!"  LMAO  why do these people try this crap?  The number is out of Providence, RI.  I am contacting the Providence Police Dep't. to open a file on them if it has not already been done.

Called number right back and message said the number was not in service.  Go figure.

Got a robocall from this number.  Caller ID Rhode Island.  Claimed to be "Account Services".  I pressed "1" to talk to a representative.  Was going to lead them on, but the transfer never connected. I tried calling the number back, but got a number "not in service" response.  Going over to the FCC and FTC sites to file a complaint.
