caller from 386-233-3745; robo call.. i just blocked it....

Call comes in every other day about mid afternoon.  I don't answer and they don't leave a message.  Have no idea who it is, must be robo calls.  This type of call seems to be on the up swing and DNC lists make no difference....so I guess I give up my phone or purchase a blocking device.  Unlisted # doesn't seem to make a difference.  Sad state of affairs that we have to pay to be harassed on a daily basis.

Actual person vice robo call. Wanted to send someone out to do a 14 point check on my home to make the house more "energy efficient " Not affiliated with power co or govt agency.

Do not blame the DNC list.  Only legitimate companies follow their guidelines.  The scammers that are calling you to offer free energy audits, reduce your credit card rates, 'give' you a medical alert device, 'give' you a security system, tell you that you just won a trip to the Bahamas or any other 'to good to be true' bull$hit scam laugh at DNC regulations.

So, do not pick up phone for any number you do not know.  If it's important, they will leave a message.  Get a call blocker with as much blocking capability as possible.  Just keep plugging in the known scam numbers as they appear.  Some blockers allow you to block entire area codes.

Called my cell. Did not answer and they did not leave a voicemail. Called the number back from a land line and the company identified themselves as "Energy Awareness". I blocked the number.
