This is too funny.  I received three calls from them.  Three different WA state numbers.  I have Google voice, so whenever I get a call, I check the number out and put them on my block list.  Next time they call they get the, "this number you have dialed is no longer in service" message.  

You mentioned your CID showed EFA Research.  So I went to their website.  Says they work with non-profit and political research organizations.  They go on to say some of their surveys include incentives to those surveyed, in the form of cruise and vacation offers, as well as gift card giveaways.  Too, an English major or technical writer sure didn't put this together.  Their syntax is all over the place.

Clearly a wolf in sheep's clothing.  While the Do Not Call Registry has a provision for legitimate political surveys, a company can't claim to do that while trying to sell someone into some type of promotion.  Government clearly needs to regulate better and stop companies from twisting the law.

We're in Mass, too.  Got this call while we were out.  No message, but I recognized the area code and exchange as being the same as all the other calls offering the BOGUS "political survey for a 'free' (NOT!) cruise" CREDIT CARD PHISHING SCAM.

Notice how their number changes slightly each day and most of these complaints come in fast and furious all within the same day or two before the peeter out?
I believe the DNC list IS working in that when they get enough complaints they issue an order to that number's carrier to BLOCK it from being used.  But then the SCAMMERS just find another number in the system to use and it starts all over again within the next day or two.

The problem is, they can't go after - fine, shut down, arrest, etc.  - the call centers which are based in INDIA, PAKISTAN, MALAYSIA, etc., because they have no jurisdiction there.  Time to send our Navy Seals in to route them out and annihilate them, "off the record" of course!

I also think this is why the CRIMINAL SPAMMERS are starting to call on the weekends more (including last week's HOLIDAY weekend) **Because they know the FCC/Government is CLOSED then, so they will have at least TWO DAYS of using a number before they are SHUT DOWN again.**

Just have to keep filing those complaints to the DNC list after EACH and EVERY call, ASAP; the sooner you do, the sooner the Feds will act on a particular number to block it from being used.
