Just got a cll from this number.  I am in Illinois.  Caller I'd says:  IND SUR GROP

This is the 3rd call from this area code in a few weeks.  The next time they call I am going to answer and play along to try and figure out what their game is.  If more of us do that, we can file a complaint and take these scammers down!

I assumed ~independent survey group. Assumed: politics. I actually picked up the call, out of curiosity (was it really independent?) and as soon as I did, click, disconnect. Wondering if they are about leaving a message to call back, or what, but in any case I too am on the Federal and state 'do not call' lists - as if it matters, since politicians, surveyors etc. are apparently exempt, and the corporations now are people with more collective rights than us poor victims of phone harrassment.

I just got a call from this number on my home line.  I live in TX and I'm registered with Do Not Call.

I'm in Kentucky and they have called my cell phone twice this morning.
