After literall years of them calling, again and again...
...I am disappointed in my state attorney general for not pursuing them actively, as he promised over his pre-election period, and time in office.
I live in Washington State, and my promisary attorney general is Robb McKenna.
Being a democrat, I didn't like the guy initially, since he was a moderate Republican.
But I voted for him in the past term, because he was exactly that: a moderate Republican (a dying species), and actually far exceeded my expectations.
Unfortunately, Robb then decided to run for Governor of Washington State.
Exit Robb 1, an effective advocate for the people as state Attorney General, and entrance to the scene Robb 2, turning 180 degrees against all previous good work for Washington state residents, and now upon election season, refusing to pursue action against these phone bandits.
These telemarketers were on the run for a period, but people like our local idiot Attorney General Robb2 have now decided that past works mean nothing in crushing these [***]-hats, as moving right, and collecting big bucks from corporate donars to get in higher office over-rides all conscience or past stated goals and actions done in the name of consumer protection. Political office on a higher level means more to this person than standing up for us at-home people who have to put up with these obviously illegal calls.
Gosh, we live in a great age and time.
