Caller immediately hung up when I answered. I called the number from my cell phone, and it immediately went to a voice mail message that said, "Thank you for calling back."  If you are not interested in our promotions and wish to be put on our 'do-not-call list', please press 1 now..."

I never oblige these message requests with a response.  I want them to think that I dialed a wrong number, thus not confirming their initial call to me.  That would give them both my cell# and my landline# that they originally called.

Oh, man!  Why can't I get calls like that from them?!  That would be far more entertaining than the usual scam crap.  I did have one particular potential scammer trying to insist on sending out a representative for a 'free' home security system.  He was quite adamant until I told him I AM the home security system and that I have cameras and guns, but if he really wanted to send someone out to talk... *Click!*  I wasn't threatening him, just informing him about my security precautions.  Apparently he must have thought they were sufficient. <evil grin>  Best of luck getting satisfaction from Mr. Phone Balls.

telemarketing call concerning my credit card a "very important credit card information", receiving on house phone, cell phones constantly, same call, from different number. Received from New York, New Jersey, Alabama and more.
I do not own any credit cards....
I would very much like to meet these people, I could repair their phone service  for them.

I just got a call from 360-322-6687.  I have them on my block list so the old wall phone in the kitchen rings once then sends them to a black hole.  This is your only option, get a call blocker.  I got mine off Ebay, cheap.
If you pick up by mistake start talking in Gibbersh, then hang up and get a call blocker.  Never give information out.
I also set my phone to call transfer to my vacation home and noticed they hang up if they are transferred.  Their computer must know it is being transferred.  I guess too many people transferred their calls to the FCC.  The scammers figured that out.
You could also call transfer your home phone to your cell phone and I would guess that would weed em out too.

I am trying to have fun with them, I am tired of being angry every time the phone rings.

There is NOTHING you can do.  Period.  I get calls from these people 2 times a day, EVERY DAY.  I block the number, then the next day it comes from another fake number generated by the robo dialer.  Nobody knows who they are or where they call from.  They are just robo calls placed through several services to mask the real location.  Been getting calls for YEARS now from "Sara from the credit card company...or Rachel...."

One time i played along a while ago.  I gave them a credit card number from an old gift card I had with 20 cents on it.  They ran it.  THey then asked for the customer service number on the back so they could call with me on the line still.  I gave them a 1-800 phone sex line.  IT was funny to hear the call on 3 way when they react to the sex line.  They really thought they had someone to fall for their "$999" credit fixing...

This only works if they can actually find the company to fine them or take them to court.

Since this company is a scam - they have not been caught

So while it is good for us to continue to rack up complaints against them the feds will have to find and catch them first.

For those of you who play the waste their time game - they are probably making money off of you since they can sell your phone number on a list of folks who will answer the phone - so a premium price.
